What services are provided by the C&E Center?

We provide individual, pre-marital, marital, one or two-day marriage intensive and family counseling. We see children starting at age 3, adolescents and adults.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Counseling sessions are by appointment only. Call Leann McCown, our assistant, at 469.424.1618 for further information about the Counseling and Enrichment Center or to set up a time for your appointment.

What should I expect?

The Counseling and Enrichment Center staff are trained counselors who can help you understand yourself more fully. Prior to speaking with a counselor you will be asked to complete information and consent for counseling forms.   Counseling sessions generally last 45 minutes, and every attempt is made to begin and end sessions on time. Most counseling sessions occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis; however you and your counselor will work to determine the regularity and number of sessions necessary to adequately address your needs.

All information shared in counseling sessions is regarded with the greatest respect. Confidentiality of the counseling relationship will be maintained at all times. No information from the sessions will be released without prior knowledge and written consent of the client. We also cannot acknowledge or deny that someone is receiving services. Your counselor will speak with you regarding the legal exceptions to confidentiality.

Who does the Counseling Center provide services to?

Our aim is to help adults, teens and children identify strengths and growth opportunities in an effort to gain better life skills and work toward healthier relationships with God, others and themselves.
