Volunteer Job Descriptions:

Sunday Morning (9:15 & 10:45am)

Infants & Ones: Volunteers in these classrooms provide a loving and welcoming environment for young children. Positive early experiences at church help children grow to love attending church for their entire lives.

Twos through Kindergarten: Volunteers in these classrooms are provided a simple Bible lesson and activities that are age appropriate. All materials are provided in the classroom and may include play dough, puzzles, arts & crafts and other such items. Volunteers are asked to read through the story and activities to be prepared each Sunday to help the children learn about Jesus.

Grade School Small Group Leaders (1st-5th grades): Volunteers are assigned a group of 10-15 grade school children. Each small group will have two leaders this fall. Volunteers are responsible for studying a lesson and coming prepared to share the story and lesson with the children in the small group. All materials are provided. Small group lasts for about 45 minutes. Small group leaders then accompany the group to KidzWorship which is the last part of the Bible study time. Small group leaders have the same children all year and our hope is that the leader also forms a relationship with the children in the group.
