Thank you for your interest in First Baptist Learning Center. We believe that our outstanding program and staff are built on a solid foundation of excellence that has been represented by more than 30 years of educational service to the McKinney community. FBLC is a member of the Early Childhood Director’s Network and the Texas Baptist Church Weekday Association.
Our staff is carefully screened through a detailed interview process. All staff members are CPR/First Aid certified and FBI fingerprinted/background checked. Each staff member must attend 24 hours of continuing education classes yearly. A certified teacher is placed in each PreK and Kindergarten classroom. All classrooms have a scheduled snack, lunch (provided by parent), rest time, indoor/outdoor activity time, and educationally sound learning centers. All children also participate in a variety of specials classes and students three years and up attend a weekly chapel led by our director and assistant director. FBLC follows the MISD calendar from Labor Day to Memorial Day. The school day is from 9:15a-2:15p.
Our weekday preschool program and staff are supervised by the Children’s Minister of First Baptist McKinney. While the weekday program is an integral part of the Children’s Ministry of First Baptist, it is funded entirely by the tuition and fees of students. Our fees and tuition reflect a competitive and fair rate to cover all expenses including classroom resources, specials, and payroll. Please click through our site for details regarding the upcoming school year. Information is available regarding tuition, curriculum, and program options. Thank you for considering First Baptist Learning Center for your child’s educational needs.
