Missions at First McKinney

At First McKinney, missions is a large part of who we are. We exist to make disciples who live and love like Jesus so that our neighbors, the nations and the next generation will follow Him.

We define "missions" as making disciples cross-culturally, and our approach to accomplishing that is by intentional evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and blessing communities. We support that by:

Praying

Every person can have a part in reaching the unreached through prayer. Join us in prayer for the requests made by ministries locally and around the world.

Giving

We participate in God’s mission through giving. Missionaries cannot go unless they are sent and this requires supporting them financially.

Going

Our prayer is that God will not only allow us to partner with others in local, national and international missions, but that we can also send our own! Whether that be short, mid, or long-term, we want to be a church that goes.

Our hope is for our church family to be fully engaged in our community. We have several opportunities for you to serve through First McKinney, including partnering with one of our local community partners.

We have a strong conviction to see the Kingdom of God spread throughout the nations. We believe that we all have a place in God's mission, therefore we provide several opportunities to support ministries across the globe.
