The first step to getting involved at First McKinney is to attend the Discover First class. This informational class helps you discover what's unique about First McKinney and helps to determine the area of ministry that would best fit your gifts and talents.

At First McKinney, we believe we have a calling to help people live and love like Jesus. God has given each person a gift to equip us to serve so that the body of Christ may be built up. There are many opportunities to serve at First McKinney and we want you to find the one that best suits your passion, personality and availability.

Whether you are new in your journey with Christ or you've been following Him for years, join us to discover more about First McKinney and step into new levels of growth, find a Life Group or join the church if you're ready. 

First McKinney is a family of believers in Jesus Christ, and anyone is welcome to attend each week. We would encourage one of your next steps to be that you become a member of First McKinney. You can become a member of the church family in one of four ways:

• Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and being baptized by immersion.
• If you have already accepted Jesus but have not been baptized by immersion, then following Him in believer's baptism.
• Transfer of membership by letter from another Baptist church.
• Statement of having previously accepted Christ and experienced baptism by immersion as a member of another Baptist or Bible-teaching church.
