The Ewing's story
Hi, we are the Ewings! Sidney and I were married in August of 2020 right in the midst of Covid. I (Robert) grew up right here in McKinney and was raised at First McKinney. My wife grew up in New Braunfels, Texas where her family has lived for four generations. We both attended Texas A&M, but we did not meet until after college. While both working in different ministries our paths crossed and we started dating, bringing us to now!
The Center for Mission Mobilization exists to engage and equip believers worldwide to their most strategic role in the Great Commission. Our hearts are burdened for the 3 billion people around the world who do not have access to the Gospel. We desire to raise up missionaries to go to these people groups to give them the light of Christ. Therefore, our goal is to create 50 mission sending movements to the unreached from 50 countries. We play our part with the CMM as the Texas Area Leaders for the CMM. Sidney has recently joined the CMM and Robert has been serving with the CMM for four and a half years. Our heart as a family and as a team is to come alongside churches and believers all across Texas with the hope and prayer of raising up people to go to the nations. Our ministry on a day-to-day basis involves things such as small group bible studies, 1-on-1 meetings, and large group trainings. Long-term we are praying for the Lord to mobilize 0.1% of the church in Texas to go. If you were to do the math, that would be nearly 10,000 people going, long-term, to the unreached! Please join us in prayer and partnership as we aim for God's glory being known throughout the earth.
