Ash Wednesday
Join us for a special Ash Wednesday service on February 18, 2026, as we begin our journey toward Easter and start our season of prayer and fasting. This reflective evening will center on Scripture, prayer, and worship as we intentionally pause, examine our hearts, and turn our focus toward Christ. Together, we’ll create space to seek the Lord, depend on Him through prayer and fasting, and prepare our hearts for the Easter season ahead.
A Discipleship Study
If our journey through Genesis 1–3 has stirred your heart and left you wanting to go deeper, we’d love for you to keep going with us. Join us on Wednesday nights for an in-depth study of the book of Genesis as we explore its rich theology, historical context, and powerful application for our lives today.

A Night for the Ladies
Aspire Women's Conference is a one-night gathering designed to encourage, inspire, and refresh women of all ages. This event features three women on stage - one Bible teacher, one comedian, and one musician - and offers the perfect blend of humor, truth, and heartfelt worship. Join us on Sunday, March 1, at 5:00 PM for an unforgettable evening of laughter, meaningful Bible teaching, and life-giving worship. Doors open at 4:00 PM, and a pre-show panel with the speakers starts at 4:30 PM.

We’re believing for backyards across McKinney and beyond to say “yes.” You don’t need to be an expert — just willing. Let’s go love our neighbors and fill our communities with hope, one backyard at a time!
Pajama Day - Sunday, March 8
We know that losing an hour of sleep can be tough, so let’s make it a little easier! On Daylight Savings Time Sunday, we’re inviting all kids to come to church in their comfiest pajamas. Whether it's your favorite onesie, cozy slippers, or a snuggly robe - come dressed for comfort and fun!
Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead and join us in your PJs for a Sunday morning to remember!

Vessels meets in the Children’s Theater at First McKinney every Tuesday from 6:15 - 7:45 PM. During club meetings, 3rd-6th grade girls learn about women of the Bible, make crafts, dance, sing and earn keepsake jewelry by memorizing scripture. Register Here!

This is a special event for just our 4th & 5th graders! They are invited to come early and have dinner and fellowship before midweek. It is $5 for pizza, cookie and a drink.
